Primary Seal Windows

The Thermal Window Advantage!

Here is a comparison between the three most common windows materials, as you will see, vinyl windows are clearly the superior product, both in quality, endurance and energy efficiency:

WOOD WINDOWS
Wood windows are a fairly good insulator and are fairly durable. They can be painted or stained.
However, wood windows will expand or contract in wet and dry weather, often causing a window to stick. Wood windows are also a very high maintenance product, they require regular painting and staining in order to preserve them. With improper maintenance the window can rot and warp.

ALUMINIUM WINDOWS
Aluminium windows are generally the least expensive.
Aluminum is a conductor and is not a good insulator, making it more suitable for industrial applications. Aluminum windows are not welded and therefore are not very durable; humidity can built up in the seams and case the frame to shift resulting in a break in the seal.
WIth age, oxidation occurs, causing damage to the seals and resulting in condensation, leaks and even damage to the glass.

VINYL THERMAL VINDOWS
Most commonly used on new homes and very popular as a replacement window because they are made specially to fit the existing window opening. Vinyl windows are strong and extremely efficient in cold climates. Vinyl windows have a welded frame, making it a perfectly sealed unit. Available in a variety of styles and sizes, the vinyl window is a very versatile product which is both functional and attractive.
